About Us
Urban Utopia LLC is a for-profit organization that coordinates inclusive events, specialized for high school Special Education students, and promotes community engagement.
Our Story
Urban Utopia LLC is based out of San Diego, CA; and was launched in 2023 by a Navy Veteran name Kwameisha Thompson. The name Urban Utopia originated from the envision of an ideal created community that is inclusive. The idea of Urban Utopia inclusive events was inspired by Kwameisha when she was in High School and a part of the Associated Student Body (ASB). A special education dance was organized by ASB and launched for the very first time at her high school. The excitement and smiles that were on the students’ faces while dancing and celebrating is what had driven her to launch Urban Utopia LLC and dedicate it to inclusion.
